New to the game? Blackjack is a game of strategy, and combined with a little luck you may come out on top. You are betting against the dealer, not other players at the table. The goal is to have a hand that is valued closer to 21, without going over 21, than the dealer. Stop by and give it a try...it's fun!

Brand new to Black Hawk – Pai Gow Poker!

Pai Gow Poker is a classic Western Poker game blended with the ancient oriental game Pai Gow. It is played with a traditional deck of 52 cards plus one Joker. The Joker can only be used as an Ace or to complete a Straight, Flush, or a Straight Flush. Briefly, Pai Gow Poker is a card game in which Players are dealt seven cards, which they then arrange to form a five card high hand and and a two card low hand, using Poker ranking to determine the relative rank of the hands. The two hands of the Player are then compared to the two hands of the Dealer. A player wins if both his/her high hand and low hand are higher in rank than the high hand and low hand of the Dealer or Bank. The player's wager is considered to be a tie ("push") if one of his/her hands in higher than one of the hands of the Dealer or Bank, and is identical or lower. The player loses if both his/her hands are identical to or lower than the hands of the Dealer or Bank. Winning wagers in Pai Gow are paid 1 to 1. A five percent vigorish is charged on winning hands.
